"Mom - I need to interview you for a podcast assignment" - I said to my mom as I settled into the coach of her  upper basement office after school. She had just finished her last conference call.  "Oh and by the way, we need to do it tonight because it is due tomorrow."

"OK - let me wrap work honey and we'll get it done." mom replied. That's my mom - always ready and able to fit in where, when  and however needed!

My mom never disappoints to bring the best of herself to others and she certainly brings out the best in me and those she loves (which candidly is everyone)! With little warning, she stopped what she was doing and accommodated my ask. Two test runs (one rougue and one scripted at her insistence) and  we hit record on my iPhone to have a  fun discussion, less than 5 minutes -  me interviewing her. We hope you enjoy this 5 minute segment talking about the joys (and sometimes challenges) of hosting a successful dinner parties!
